Ken Allum lives and works on Anglesey. He has taught for many years and now spends much of his time making art. He has exhibited throughout the UK, including the Royal Academy and Mall Galleries in London. He now showcases and sells his work mainly through his website at www.allumart.com.
Ken’s chief concern is to develop a distinctive language within his painting which allows for a variety of expressions. He believes art is a stimulant and not a decoration.
He's interested in the art and craft of making objects and creating illusions which communicate ideas and feelings.
Precision and perfection are key to his aims.
